Client Services Coordinator

 

We are seeking a motivated individual for an open Client Services Coordinator position at our transportation consulting firm located in Woburn, MA. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work one-on-one with management, clients, and as part of a team with coworkers. The person in this role will work at our Corporate Office and on-site at client locations. Energetic applicants with strong organizational skills will be given highest priority consideration.

Responsibilities include developing, managing and promoting programs for carpooling/vanpooling, transit, bicycling, telecommuting, and employee shuttles, conducting transportation surveys, ensuring compliance with state rideshare regulations, promoting services at employer events and all administrative tasks required of this position. Marketing (including design) and event planning experience are a plus, as is a general knowledge of alternative transportation options and air quality/traffic congestion issues. A college degree and/or experience in the fields of transportation, planning, communications, marketing or project management is preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Effective communication skills including excellent oral and writing skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Adept at planning and organizing programs and events
  • Effective public speaking and presentation ability
  • Strong marketing, public relations skills
  • Experience in graphic design and creating marketing materials a plus
  • Proficient with use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of effective use of Social Media as a marketing tool
  • Focus on customer service with ability to analyze problems and facilitate solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Team player who can also work well independently
  • Event planning experience is a plus, as is a general knowledge of marketing, alternative transportation options and air quality/traffic congestion issues.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Planning, Transportation, Engineering or other related discipline, or
  • Completion of a formal course of study reasonably related to the job and minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, transportation planning, environmental disciplines, and/or promotion of programs to encourage behavior change, or
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in transportation planning, environmental disciplines, marketing and/or promotion of programs to encourage behavior change.
